Cruse Control ("we", "our", "the app") is a driving-hours tracker that helps learner-permit holders log supervised driving sessions. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

• Google account info — name, email address, and profile photo, received when you sign in with Google.
• Driving session logs — date, duration, supervisor name, and optional condition tags (night, weather) that you enter.
• Selected state — the US state you choose, used to display the correct permit requirements.

2. How We Store Your Data

All data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) on servers located in the United States. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and protected by Firebase security rules that restrict access to authenticated users.

3. Who Can See Your Data

• You — you can view and export all of your own session data at any time.
• Administrators — app administrators may access session data for support and moderation purposes.
• No one else — we do not sell, share, or disclose your personal data to any third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting)
• Google Sign-In (authentication)

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You may delete individual sessions at any time from within the app.

6. Deleting Your Data

You can delete your data in the following ways:

• Use the delete features within the app to remove individual sessions or all session data.
• Visit our Account & Data Deletion page to submit a formal deletion request.
• Email us at 16648dev@gmail.com to request account or data deletion.

7. Children's Privacy

Cruse Control is designed for teen drivers (typically ages 15-17) learning to drive under supervision. The app requires Google Sign-In and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided data through the app, please contact us for removal.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
